How to Create your Senior Research Project Profile

This Senior Sequence Student Research database is designed to facilitate “knowledge networking” among class members (i.e., help you get to know one another and share ideas as you do your senior research projects).

To create your profile, please follow these instructions:

(a). Register yourself on the USP Senior Sequence database at http://regionalworkbench.org/sprofiles/register.php

To register, you'll need to create a user name and password. It is a good idea to use the easy-to-remember prefix of your email address as your username (for Keith Pezzoli, that would be kpezzoli). Save your username and password. You'll need these for Fall and Winter quarters. You will also receive an email notification once you have registered that has information about your account and how to access the system.

(b). Once you are registered, you must login and select 'edit my profile' to begin creating your profile. Fill in those sections called for by your assignment. You need to include your name, class year 2006-2007, SRP title (your first idea for this), a few key terms and the section labeled "Significance/Broader Impact." Other pieces will get filled in as you make progress (proposal abstract, literature, links). To complete the "Significance/Broader Impact" section of your profile page, simply cut and paste a copy of your essay (part #1 of Assignment #1) into the designated text box.

(c). You can view all student profiles alphabetically and by Area of Concentration (AOC). You can change your profile at any time during the quarter, including the AOC you select. To update your profile as the quarter progresses, go to this link: http://regionalworkbench.org/sprofiles/, login with your username and password and select 'edit my profile'.
