Contemporary Barcelona is a capital of great architecture and urban planning. It started with Idelfonso Cerda', the 19th century urban visionary who designed the spectacular Example (Extension) district, today a virtual museum of great architecture by Gaudi' and others. This traveling exhibition has been in museums in Paris, London, Tokyo, Chicago, and will be in San Diego for one week (September 20-27). It is an exciting, colorful collection of drawings, photographs, maps, models and other documents of one of the world's first great urban designers in one of the world's truly inspiring cities. Don't miss this great opportunity.
