Purpose of the first RWBC EXPO 2003 (May 29th Roll Out):

-to raise visibility of RWBC tools, initiatives and opportunities

-promote crossborder collaboration

Target Audience: 4 different groups

(1)   Researchers

(2)   Policy and Decision Makers

(3)   Community

(4)   Students

We decided that all attendees should be able to view all the demo’s.  Therefore, we combined the Qol demo with the Superfund On-line interactive mapping demo.

It was mentioned that we should leverage Optiputer capabilities during the Rollout.

Look into having the poster viewing area in the entranceway of the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies.

We should control demo attendance.  Possibly ask attendees to register by group (1-4) to smooth the flow of participation.

Shane suggested that we have a structure or template for the demos so everyone gets a taste of all aspects of the RWBC. (This may have been resolved when we reduced the number of demos)

The Sociology of the RWBC, or how to get groups to work together, may be an important emphasis for the Rollout.

We should have a Poster with all RWBC facilities available for show in the poster viewing area.

We extended the demo time to 1 hour per with a 15 minute break between.  Also, the demos should have a Q&A sections near the end of each hour.
